Opera Brasov - Artisti - Orchestra - Dorel Munteanu - conductor

He was born in 25 of June 1948 at Cluj.
He studied piano at The Music High School, graduated in 1966.
From 1966 till 1971 he followed courses at "G. Dima" Conservatoire in Cluj, at composition-musicology and directional department.
From 1971 to 1978 he was teacher assistant and lecturer at Music Faculty from Brasov at the choral conducting department.
Starting with 1978, he is a permanent conductor at Brasov Opera House, where he conducted more than 50 plays of opera, operetta, ballet, musicals, plays for children and symphonic concerts. During this period of time, he conducted performances and concerts in Romania and Republic of Moldova. Also, he made tours with Brasov opera House inside and outside the country.
